P r of e s s i o n a l e x p e r i e n c e
Since his arrival in London in 2010, Horacio López has performed as an accompanist at different UK venues, including Southwark Cathedral in London, Canterbury Cathedral, Bristol Cathedral or The Venue at Leeds College of Music.
During his time at the Royal Academy of Music he also performed with the prestigious Song Circle as a guest pianist in 2013. He coaches singing student from this institution as well, particularly in their approach to Spanish repertoire.
He has furthermore taken part in the musical production “Happy as a sandbag” (Network theatre, 2011) and collaborated with the choral group “Cantus Ensemble”, based at St. Gabriel in Pimlico. He works as an accompanist on call at the Gable Hall School for Performing Arts in Essex, while giving private tuition to a wide range of students, not just in piano but also in music theory.
Since finishing his degree in Spain, Horacio has worked in numerous Spanish music schools as a piano teacher: “Escuela de Música y Danza de Valdemoro” in Madrid; “Escuela Guillermo Calero” in Manzanares, Ciudad Real, etc.
In 2009/10 he worked as interim accompanist for all brass and strings students at the “Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Getafe”, Madrid.
